Earlier this month, two examples of Italian excellence made their debut nationwide. Leading pastry chef Iginio Massari opened a store in Milan, Italy's largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo.

The 75-year-old Masary is the founder and owner of the proud Pasticceria Veneto in the northern city of Brescia. He now offers the famous monoporzioni, panettoni, bossolà and other delicacies in a completely novel environment - at Intesa Sanpaolo in Via Guglielmo Marconi The busy branch is within a stone's throw from the cathedral in the center of Milan.
